Ikon Zeiss DRS 8444 security bar with locking bar – supply and fitting in Berlin

One of the most successful crossbar lock models is the DRS 8444 security bar from the well-known brand manufacturer Ikon Zeiss, which comes with a locking bar as standard. Like all crossbar locks, it is mounted horizontally on the door and thus protects the door across its entire width. The security bar is supplied with a silver-coloured rosette and a classic standard cylinder – also in silver.

Effective protection is provided by the patented Dual Bolt System (DRS). This consists of two extending steel bolts, one on each side, guaranteeing double security. The Zeiss Ikon DRS 8444 security bar can be used flexibly on most doors with standard dimensions and a door width of 60 – 120 cm.
A rotating bolt provides special additional protection: it makes manipulation with tools considerably more difficult and thus guards against a forced attack from outside. The DRS 8444 security bar has VdS approval, which also applies to the protective rosette and the euro cylinder. In addition to the typical silver, the crossbar lock is also available in brown and white.
