Product description:

A security escutcheon with cylinder cover is a security device against vandalism and burglary. The escutcheon is made of robust materials and has a special cover that protects the lock cylinder. This cover makes it harder for potential intruders to tamper with or break open the cylinder. This additional security measure reduces the risk of vandalism and burglary, as the locking mechanisms are effectively protected. A security escutcheon with cylinder cover therefore offers increased security and helps prevent damage and unauthorised access.

Why this security escutcheon?

Tests have shown that GEMINY security products can withstand manipulation, bumping, pulling, drilling, gluing, blocking, snapping and even vandalism. According to the German police crime prevention programme of the federal states and the federal government (Polizeiliche Kriminalprävention der Länder und des Bundes), a burglar usually gives up if they cannot gain access to the building within two to five minutes. With GEMINY you can make sure your property is protected during this critical period and the risk of burglary is minimised.

What does ES1 stand for?

The ES1 security escutcheon is made of robust materials such as steel and aluminium, which ensure high stability and security. It is mounted on the outside of the door, providing an additional layer of protection for the door lock and cylinder.

The particular advantage of the ES1 security escutcheon lies in its certification to the DIN EN 1906 standard. This standard ensures that the fitting meets certain security standards and has been tested. The ES1 security escutcheon is tested against various criteria such as break-in resistance, impact resistance and protection against manipulation.
