Owners and residents of blocks of flats know the problem: when it comes to locking the front door, opinions among the tenants often differ. While some are concerned about security and would prefer the front door to be locked at all times, others see the locked door as an inconvenient obstacle.
As the landlord of such a property in particular, you have to satisfy all parties: those who want effective protection against burglary and those who simply want to be able to leave the building quickly. It is also not very convenient if guests cannot leave the flat without the host. For all these cases, the MEDIATOR system from the brand manufacturer ASSA ABLOY is the ideal solution.
The MEDIATOR system is a combination of a self-locking panic lock and an electric door opener. A front door fitted with the MEDIATOR system can be opened from the inside at any time without using a key. Once you have left the building, the front door locks again automatically. In addition, the front door can be opened from your own flat via a special device. Your tenants therefore no longer have to leave their flats to let guests into the building.
Another advantage, which is particularly important with regard to insurance cover: in the event of danger, such as a fire, residents can leave the building without any problems, as the front door can always be opened from the inside, so an escape route is always guaranteed.
Unlike many competing products, the ASSA ABLOY MEDIATOR system does not use a motorised lock with complex wiring, so it can be retrofitted to almost any front door easily and cost-effectively. Fair Schlüsseldienst will be happy to answer all your questions and carry out the professional installation.
